I want to say something in regards to having a niche. This has been a hard thing for me to nail down. I started at this online business stuff to make some money, and I figured it would be fairly straightforward and easy money. Guess what, this online business stuff is work, and one must acquire new skills. It is easier than a labor job and harder than bookkeeping. I have been struggling with what to do and how to do it for a while now. One thing I learned quickly was that I needed traffic to be able to make money. Without money coming in, what the heck am I doing this for? To learn how to throw money around on the net?? So, figure out your niche ASAP. There are 3 major niches. They are wealth, health, and relationships. You want to tap into the primal reptilian inside all of us.
Traffic should, actually, be the first thing you build. Without traffic you have essentially nothing. So, create some information directly related to what your leads are wanting. They will find value in the information you are giving them. Thus, this value will become trust in your relationship with your prospect, if you nurture this relationship. Loyalty will develop soon after. As you build this traffic you can build your list. Be sure all this traffic is aware of your newsletter so you can build your list. There you are in business. Use forums, blogs, social media sites to interact with people. Participate in conversations, and you will be learning what people are selling and what is being sold. Visit and join affiliate network sites to determine what is selling. Most everybody wants to know the easiest way to make money. They want to know what product to create or promote. How to market the product, and who to market it to? Do your (re)search and once you do that you will know what your people want and where they are. You find your product(s) by doing your research, and you find your traffic by researching too. There’s your niche.
